Safeguarding underpins everything we do at Church Gresley Pre-School and is the priority of our school vision, ethos and values.
Safeguarding is ensuring that every child is safe from harm – safe from bullying, people who could abuse, discrimination or harassment so that every child feels safe at Pre-School.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. At Church Gresley Pre-School, every member of staff is very committed in playing their part to keeping children safe and promote the welfare of children. All of our staff have a clear understanding of safeguarding, our procedures and the signs to look out for. They have received training about how to identify, respond and report, including what to do in the process of allegations against professionals.
We have 2 Designated Safeguarding Leads at Church Gresley Pre-School:
Debbie Barry & Chelsea Thorpe-Kinsey
